Sinningia piresiana

Last weekend, Ken Moore and I spent a day at Al's Orchid Greenhouse doing some gesneriad maintenance. (Al graciously lets me propagate some gesneriads at his greenhouse, as many members of the National Capital Area gesneriad society know.) We  potted up some of the Sinningia this time, like this piresiana which had been growing in a clay pot next to some succulents (Stapelia, Haworthia, etc).

Not enough room in that pot for another year of growth....
